5 TIPS TO SAVE MONEY ON YOUR GOOGLE ADS 📈

April 13, 2021BlogNo Comments »

Google ads give you the ability to show your ads and reach people with specific interests — specifically, people who are interested in your products and services as they are searching for them!

Here are 5 ways to improve your Google Ad campaigns and save your budget:

1️⃣ Improve Your Quality Score – The Quality Score is Google’s rating of the overall user experience that your ads and landing pages provide when users search for your keyword(s). This is represented on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. You may check your Quality Score by looking at your keywords report.

2️⃣ Pay Attention to Your Impression Share – Impression share (IS) is the percentage of impressions that your ads receive compared to the total number of impressions that your ads could get. Impression share = impressions/total eligible impressions. Eligible impressions are estimated using many factors, including targeting settings, approval statuses and quality.

3️⃣ Make Sure Your Conversions are Tracking – Conversion tracking can help you see how effectively your ad clicks lead to valuable customer activity on your website, such as purchases, sign-ups and form submissions.

4️⃣ Monitor Google Ads Campaign Metrics Regularly – Sign in to your Google Ads account every day and optimise your ads sets and update your keywords. Pink Cockatoo Marketing do this daily for our clients that we are running Google Ad campaigns for.

5️⃣ Monitor your target keywords and prune your list regularly – when you see keywords that just aren’t getting enough clicks, impressions, or conversions, but it’s also important to curate a list of negative keywords, which are the search terms you don’t want to trigger your ads.
